Has anyone else noticed....

that Joe Biden's opinions have drastically changed now that he is no longer a Presidential candidate, but a V.P. pick? When he was more concerned about getting the Democratic nomination over Barack Obama, and not so worried about John McCain, he wasn't very complimentary of Barack and very critical of his record or, shall I say, lack there of. Mr. Biden was also quite complimentary of John McCain to the point of explaining how the country would be "better off" if the country had to pick either he (Joe Biden) or John McCain for President. And let's not forget Mr. Biden stating that he didn't think Barack is ready to be President and that "The presidency is not something that lends itself to on-the-job training." It was quite a different Joe Biden that I heard speak today. The Joe Biden I heard today only lambasted John McCain and had nothing but praise for, his now running mate, Barack Obama. Is it that John McCain's positions have so drastically changed in recent months....no, I don't think so. Is it that, somehow, Barack Obama has by some means....how I don't know....maybe....osmosis....gained experience and readiness beyond his years and now Joe is comfortable with him....no, I don't think so. Well, then what has changed? Could it be that Joe Biden is not as concerned with what would make the country "better off" as he would like us to believe, and more concerned with simply winning the highest office that he is able to attain? I only propose this because looking at the Joe Biden of several months ago, I would not have not been at all surprised if he would have rejected a V.P. offer from Obama and endorsed his "close personal friend" John McCain!
